OUR INITIATIVES
Empowering Communities through Education, Culture, and Conservation
At Haraya, our programs are designed to promote critical thinking and lasting change by blending local knowledge with innovative education models
Haraya Projects Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on community-based education, critical thinking, and social transformation in the Philippines. We work in underserved areas to support local educators, create inclusive learning environments, and empower youth to become agents of change in their own communities.
Our work is rooted in the belief that education should be responsive to the realities of each place, whether that means addressing literacy gaps in urban areas or supporting environmental education in rural conservation zones. Every initiative we launch is shaped by the needs, knowledge, and leadership already present in the communities we serve.
We collaborate closely with teachers, youth, and local institutions to co-create programs that are grounded, sustainable, and imaginative. From remedial literacy in Tondo to social enterprise development in Pasig to conservation efforts in the Sierra Madres, our efforts span multiple regions but share one core goal: to make education more meaningful, more equitable, and more connected to lived experience.
2025 is Haraya Projects’ first year, and we are proud and honored to be partnering with dynamic organizations and communities across Metro Manila, Bicol, and Isabela. Our goal is not only to launch projects, but to build lasting, community-led systems of learning and care.
